Now
I believe that what we’re doing right now truly reflects who we are, rather than just going over what we did over the past years.
This page exists to share what I’m working on right now. I usually update this every other month.
v1.2.0– Updated June 4th, 2025.
Quick Overview
- 💼 My business is registered and located in Sofia, Bulgaria.
- 🌍 I’m originally from Modena, Italy. It’s a small, mostly unknown city, even though some of its automotive and food products are quite famous, and you probably already heard about them 🙂
- 👨💻 My main craft consists of building custom themes and plugins for WordPress. I’ve been doing this professionally for clients since 2016. Even though I’ve been a WP user since 2007. I also use other tech stacks to build web apps beyond WordPress: NextJS, Astro, Qwik, and React.
Work
- Working as a freelancer on client projects for highly customized WordPress sites (themes and plugins). Clients usually find me on LinkedIn (profile here), YouTube, or on Codeable (profile here). Most of my work time is spent on client projects. Most of my clients are from North America, US and Canada.
- Working on videos I’m publishing on my YouTube channel (link). Currently these are simple tutorials about WordPress. I’m starting from the very basics, but the plan is to get to more advanced topics.
- I write content about WordPress and related topics on LinkedIn, almost daily, link to my profile here.
Side Projects
I handled every phase of these projects 100% solo: design (in Figma), development, and marketing. Side projects are perfect to test more advanced concepts that would be too risky to test on regular client projects. As a developer, I think it’s fundamental doing this. We never develop something in a vacuum, there’s always some context. Like a good philosopher, a good developer should think about the broader context of their work.
Reach Kit is a paid product. Coffee Radar is free.
- Reach Kit: A web app to help you post on LinkedIn more frequently and save time while doing it. You can turn one-take voice recordings into LinkedIn posts, organize your ideas, drafts and content notes in one place, and schedule and publish directly to LinkedIn from this app. This is also the tool I use to post daily on LinkedIn. Built with React and Astro.
- Coffee Radar: helps you finding the best specialty cafés around the world. I built this for remote workers that want to find a public place to work from with their laptop, and for people who enjoy specialty coffee.
- Useful Content App: built with Astro and Qwik. The side project of the side project. This app is for private use only and it provides a system powered by a variety of generative AI models to include some AI content on Coffee Radar and to help organize the coffee shops. The goal: include automatically useful content (according to the Google Helpful Content update) about coffee shops spread around the world. Content that users will not find easily online. This app may become a proper SaaS that works for all sorts of directory websites.
